Welcome Kathy Gattoni!

We are so thrilled to have Kathy join the museum as our play group leader. Those of us who have had the benefit of Kathy’s classes know that it does not get any better than this! You WILL walk away happier, more confident, and more knowledgeable about your baby or young person. Additionally, you may meet friends that you and your child will know for a lifetime! My name is Kathy Gattoni and I am back on Cape after being away for about 6 years. I am first a Mother of 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren with one more on the way in January. I have been teaching Early Childhood programs for 32 years and have loved every minute! First through the Milford Family and Community Network and then later when my young family moved to Sandwich at the Discovery Center in Sandwich Library . I started teaching Lapbabies classes there when I realized there was a need for a weekly support for parents who were looking for something that would be fun, educational and a way for them to meet other parents who were experiencing the birth of a child. Later as a Playgroup facilitator and Lapbabies teacher with the Upper Cape Family Network and as an Assistant Children’s Librarian in Bourne. Most recently as a Parent Educator and Playgroup facilitator at the Milford Family Network. Since moving back to the Cape , I will be teaching Lapbabies classes and Mixed aged programs at the Cape Cod Childrens Museum and I look forward to meeting new families.
